Bank comfort letters, tear-sheets, and RWA (Ready, Willing & Able) letters — required by sellers to verify buyer capacity before contract issuance.
Formal written confirmation from the buyer's bank of the buyer's financial standing — used at LOI stage to establish credibility and progress the transaction.
Vanguard structures the transaction, coordinates the parties, and facilitates authentic SWIFT delivery through nominated financial institutions. Every arrangement is conducted under strict confidentiality and appropriate legal frameworks.
We speak the language of the buyer, the seller, and the confirming bank with equal fluency.
Vanguard Trade Capital does not issue banking instruments in its own name. We do not act as a bank. We do not sell, lease, or monetise instruments outside of a specific, contracted commodity transaction.
Instrument text is negotiated between issuing, advising, and confirming banks before contract signature to ensure the payment mechanism is workable end-to-end.
We review the underlying SPA or draft contract, confirm the required instrument type (MT700 sight LC, MT760 SBLC, MT103 transfer, or Bank Guarantee), and verify the counterparties' banking references.
Instrument text is drafted and pre-approved by issuing, advising, and confirming banks before it is opened. Where required, an MT799 pre-advice is exchanged to establish issuing capacity.
The buyer's bank issues the instrument via authenticated SWIFT channel — MT700 for documentary credit, MT760 for standby / guarantee — with the seller's bank as the beneficiary or advising bank.
Where required by the seller, a top-tier confirming bank adds its confirmation. Seller reviews and accepts the instrument text against the SPA before authorising shipment.
Shipping documents are presented through the confirming bank against the instrument. On compliant presentation, payment is settled via MT103 single-customer credit transfer to the seller's nominated account.
Whether you require an SBLC to open a commodity contract, a DLC to secure payment against shipment, or a Bank Guarantee to close a tender — our desk facilitates the full instrument lifecycle through verified banking partners.
