The certificate of analysis for each lot states the measured values. The binding specification is the one in the producer's FCO.
Delivery and packing.
Olive oil is offered FOB Radès (Tunisia). Bulk oil ships in flexitanks; retail oil in PET bottles. Bottle sizes, labelling and the monthly quantity are agreed in the FCO.
Payment and inspection.
Payment
Payment is by irrevocable documentary credit (MT700) at sight, or by transferable SBLC (MT760), issued by your bank. We do not ask for TT or any advance payment.
Inspection
Quality and quantity are inspected at loading by SGS or an equivalent independent inspection company. The inspection certificate is part of the shipping documents presented under the LC.

What is the minimum order?
The quantity is agreed with the producer in the FCO, for bulk flexitanks or bottled oil. Send your monthly volume with the enquiry.
Which port do you ship from?
Olive oil is offered FOB Radès, Tunisia. You or your forwarder arrange freight to your destination.
Who appoints the inspector?
SGS or an equivalent independent company inspects at loading. The contract states who nominates and pays for the inspection.
Can you offer private label?
Yes, private label in PET bottles can be offered. Bottle sizes, labelling and the monthly quantity are agreed in the FCO; send your label requirements with the enquiry.
What does extra virgin mean?
Extra virgin olive oil is obtained only by mechanical means, with free acidity of no more than 0.8% and no sensory defects, as defined by the International Olive Council (IOC) trade standard.
